Earlier this year, we appeared on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire's "The Naked Scientists" talking about nanophotonics, how it works and what it can do.  This week, much of the show will be included in the BBC Radio 5 Science slot, available on iPlayer from Saturday morning for a week.  If you miss it, check out the podcast of our original appearance.

His work utilizes the strange properties of tiny particles of gold; light is concentrated down smaller than a single atom enabling a look at individual chemical bonds inside molecules, opening up new ways to study light and matter.
