This online calculator models plasmonic nanocavity modes under any shape of Nanoparticle-on-Mirror (NPoM) or patch antenna, with different facet shapes, and provides the spectrum of the lowest dominant modes. The calculator is based on the full parameter space fit to the quasi-normal modes which exist in the plasmonic nanocavity.
The app (use this link if problems using embedded page below) currently allows you to vary:
- diameter of nanoparticle (D)
- facet diameter (lower facet effective diameter w)
- facet shape (circular, triangular, square)
- gap thickness (t)
- gap refractive index (n)
