As every year, our group organised the NanoPhotonics Summer School. Each morning we heard inspiring talks from academic speakers and explored ideas for future projects. In the evenings, we connected with NanoPhotonics alumni, learning about their career paths and experiences in industry.
The afternoons offered something different every day: from creating decorations for our new office space, to hands-on sessions in data visualization and outreach. We also enjoyed some lighter moments together, including punting along the river, barbecue and a board games.
It was a week full of science, creativity, and community spirit, and a wonderful opportunity to learn, share, and enjoy time together in Cambridge.
